Olivia grew up in San Antonio (by way of Memphis, TN) and moved back to Memphis to attend Rhodes College, where she earned a liberal arts degree in Business Administration. At Rhodes she met her lifelong friends (more like sisters, whom she sees regularly and texts with daily) and honed her passion for service and giving back to her community. After college, Olivia made her home in Dallas and enjoyed a 25-year career as a Human Resources leader with Dave & Busters, Accenture, and others, before taking a "power pause" to focus on being a full-time mom and volunteer. Olivia met her husband, Greg, in Dallas shortly after college, and they live in North Dallas with their 11-year-old boy/girl twins, Lucy and Webb. Olivia actively advocates for Richardson ISD, the Richardson ISD Council of PTAs, and her family's local PTAs, serving as the PTA President for Spring Creek Elementary and Westwood Junior High. She is also involved in leadership roles with the Children's Ministry at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson, her Neighborhood Association Board, and her Community Pool board. The Mayberry family calendar is jam-packed with kids' sports, activities, and community events. When the calendar is clear, there are likely 6-8 tweens at their house eating their snacks.
