She resided in Amarillo for 20+ years until recently relocating to the DFW area to be closer to family. She has an array of experience deriving from early education, working with the homeless, disabilities, poverty and at-risk children and families. Her more recent experience has been working in direct care as a residential counselor in an RTC and Recruitment Coordinator for a child placing agency. Sydia has a generous heart and thrives on building relationships. She is a mother of 2 kiddos and a “Sugar” to 2 grand babies. Sydia loves spending time with her family and those she loves. She is passionate about serving her community and giving back. You will find her volunteering at any and every opportunity. As she explores this new “big city”, she is excited and eager to continue working with foster care in new territory and plans to build strong relationships for her foster community. |
