​The DFW Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.

THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 400,000 CHILDREN AND YOUTH EXPERIENCING FOSTER CARE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.  WE HAVE OVER 2,900 CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN CARE IN OUR REGION...MORE THAN ANY OTHER REGION IN TEXAS.
DFW Angels is building communities of people all across North Texas that are literally changing the way children, youth, and families experience foster care. Passionate donors, volunteers, mentors, partners, and advocates across the nation are all ripples in the sea of change for our foster care community.​

1 out of 5 foster youth become homeless at age 18

50% of foster homes close within the first year

20,000 youth between the ages of 18-21 age out of the foster care system annually

​60% of youth formerly in care fall below the poverty line, despite earning an income
